At ASTRO this year VERTUAL launched
               * VERT 2.7 release (available November 2010)
               * New Physics module for VERT (available Q2 2010)
               * iPad support for VERT (available November 2010)

We held special "Meet the Expert" presentations where Users of VERT shared their experiences of how they use VERT in their education programmes and how they acquired funding for VERT.

First International VERT User Meeting, 10^th March 2010

University of West England, Bristol, UK

This highly successful Meeting was attended by 70 delegates including 13 delegates from Canada, Denmark and the Netherlands. In the morning delegates heard presentations on experiences of several leading and innovative VERT users. In the afternoon there were two parallel sessions on VERT research and on applying VERT for continuous professional development. Before lunch James Ward (Vertual Head of R & D and Co-founder) gave a captivating demonstration of the stunning new features in VERT 2.6, these were presented on UWE's Immersive VERT system. VERT 2.6 is being released in April 2010. Over lunch delegates packed in to see a demonstration of Vertual's new Recruitment VERT system and Vertual's new touch panel VERT interface that provides highly realistic emulation of linac couch controls.
