International VERT User Meeting, 10th March
2010, This highly successful Meeting was attended by 70 delegates including 13 delegates from Canada, Denmark and the Netherlands. In the morning delegates heard presentations on experiences of several leading and innovative VERT users. In the afternoon there were two parallel sessions on VERT research and on applying VERT for continuous professional development. Before lunch James Ward (Vertual Head of R & D and Co-founder) gave a captivating demonstration of the stunning new features in VERT 2.6, these were presented on UWE's Immersive VERT system. VERT 2.6 is being released in April 2010. Over lunch delegates packed in to see a demonstration of Vertual's new Recruitment VERT system and Vertual's new touch panel VERT interface that provides highly realistic emulation of linac couch controls.
